  1. Add 50g, or approximately ½ cup, of jumbo rolled oats to a small saucepan.
  2. Add 250ml of water, milk or a plant-based alternative.
  3. Add a small pinch of salt if desired.
  4. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve with fruit, cacao, dried cranberries, honey, seeds or chopped almonds.
