SpiceBloom’s Organic Whole Cloves are hand-harvested from the flowering buds of the Syzygium aromaticum tree in India. These are 100% USDA Certified Organic, meaning they are grown without synthetic pesticides or chemicals.
Dried naturally in the sun, they are plump, oily, and reddish-brown—never dry or brittle. Squeeze the stem with your fingernail, and you will feel the release of Eugenol (essential oil). Oh that vanilla! I have not used it in baking yet but I used it in my coffee and hot chocolate. Just a pinch is enough to give your drink that vanilla taste. Very nice and reasonably priced.

Life without spices is just blah. I get my fix here at SpiceBloom. They have the best. Fresh and in small enough amounts so they won't go stale before being used up. The Ceylon cinnamon is one fine example. I use it for tea and hot chocolate. When the hot water hits the cup with the spice, it releases a puff of aroma that surrounds and totally delights you.
