Aleppo Chilli Pepper (Pul Biber)
The vibrant, fruity chili flake that transforms everyday meals. 🌶️✨
Say goodbye to harsh, overpowering chili flakes. Aleppo Pepper (also known as Pul Biber) is the ultimate culinary secret for adding a sophisticated, moderate heat to your kitchen. Boasting a stunning deep burgundy colour, it delivers a complex flavour profile of mild spice, tangy fruitiness, and a subtle hint of cumin and earthy salt.
A Silk Road Treasure. Named after the ancient Syrian city of Aleppo, a major hub on the historic Silk Road, this pepper has been a staple in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine for centuries. Today, it is prized by chefs worldwide as the perfect finishing spice to sprinkle over everything from scrambled eggs and avocado toast to roasted meats and creamy dips.

Roasted Meats & Veggies
Rub into chicken, lamb, or root vegetables before roasting. The mild heat gently caramelizes without burning your palate.

Frequently Asked Questions
How spicy is Aleppo Pepper?
It has a very moderate, accessible heat level. It is roughly half as spicy as standard red pepper flakes, meaning you get all of the vibrant flavour without overwhelming your tastebuds.
What does it taste like?
Unlike regular chili flakes which just add pure heat, Aleppo pepper brings a complex flavour profile. It has a tangy, slightly sweet, and fruity undertone (resembling sun-dried tomatoes) with a mild, earthy spice.
Can I use it as a substitute for standard chili flakes?
Absolutely! You can swap it 1:1 in any recipe calling for red pepper flakes. Because it is milder, you can even use a little bit more to really build a deep, flavourful crust on meats or roasted vegetables.

from 890 reviewsQuick delivery. And when I asked a question, it was a quick response. Thank you
Great flavour. But think I needed to put in more.
How much is equivalent to say 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
I add moringa to my smoothie each morning, it does not have any added taste to my mix so I tolerate it very well. I have no adverse effects. It is an additional supplement that I am finding keeps me well and healthy. Iam 75 years old.
service is great so no improvement needed as far as I am concerned !!!!
simply Love Beetroot powder !!!
So pleased I found Spicebloom's website. The dried apricots are the best I have ever tasted, so sweet and tender and most importantly no sulphates used in the drying process. The Californian walnut pieces also delicious and much cheaper than buying in such small amounts at a supermarket. Highly recommend Spicebloom and their products.
Best dried apricots I have ever tasted, so sweet and tender and especially important to me is the fact that they have not been preserved/dried with sulphates. So pleased I came across your website.

Far better than the "Big Brands", will buy again
It takes a while to get used to the taste but once you do you wouldn't go back to the "normal" stuff.
