SpiceBloom Organic Red Split Lentils soften readily during cooking and naturally create a thick, creamy consistency. Their mild flavour absorbs spices, herbs and aromatic ingredients well, making them useful for traditional masoor dal as well as soups, stews and blended lentil dishes.

No soaking is required. Simply rinse, simmer and season. Serve with rice or flatbread, stir into vegetable soups, or cook with turmeric, cumin, coriander, garlic and ginger for a comforting pantry meal.
