Basic Cooking Guide

  1. Sort through the mung beans and rinse thoroughly under cold water.
  2. Optional: soak for 2–4 hours, then drain and rinse.
  3. Add 1 cup of mung beans and 3 cups of water to a saucepan.
  4. Bring to the boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer.
  5. Cook for approximately 25–35 minutes, or until tender.
  6. Season according to your recipe and drain excess liquid if required.
