I just wanted to check with you about the Ceylon cinnamon powder I purchased. I understand that real Ceylon cinnamon is naturally different from cassia, and according to what I know:

Color:
Ceylon cinnamon is lighter, yellow-brown in color (unlike cassia, which is dark reddish-brown).
The color of the powder I received matches this.

Smell:
Ceylon naturally has a mild, gentle, warm aroma with citrus/woody notes.
It is never strong or sharp like cassia, so the mild smell is normal.

Taste:
It should be subtle, lightly sweet and woody, without bitterness or intensity.
The fact that the taste is very mild on the tongue is also typical for Ceylon.

Price:
I am aware that real Ceylon cinnamon is more expensive than cassia.

Freshness:
Even when fresh, Ceylon cinnamon usually does not have a strong smell — that is normal for the species.

Based on these characteristics, it seems that what I received could indeed be genuine Ceylon cinnamon.
However, I wanted to confirm with you to make sure everything is correct.
